Meet The Organizer
Shana Phillips is a Doula, Allied Healthcare professional, educator, the CEO of Gifted Hands International and the creator of the G.I.F.T. instructional model.
She received her doula training in 2012 via the standard three day plus independent learning model and spent years as a birth worker without the training or community network she envisioned.
Therefore, Shana sought out to create Gifted Hands International (GHI), as a more comprehensive training program that would produce more effectively trained Doulas and provide a community of sisters and mentors.
Since 2019 Gifted Hands International has grown to be the largest Black Owned Doula Certifying organization in the Midwest. GHI has been recognized for its high level curriculum and effective signature G.I.F.T. instructional model.
In and out of the classroom, Shana is known for her sermonic motivational speeches and her curated events. Many have shared that they feel a great sense of bonding, healing and most of all FUN while being poured into by Shana!
